Gaëtan Derache et Yves Pinguely sont deux professionnels passionnés par la communication.
Le premier est professeur de Communication à la Haute Ecole de Gestion de Genève. Il délivre des savoir faire utiles dans le cadre de la communication professionnelle à ses étudiants en économie. Il a également fondé une entreprise de services en communication.
Le second, homme de théâtre, acteur et metteur en scène, est confronté à la communication dans l’espace. Il doit travailler avec des groupes et dans des espaces très différents. Il cherche avec l’acteur comment interpréter, incarner son rôle, comment jouer avec les autres acteurs de la troupe et comment communiquer avec le public. Ce travail suppose l’apprentissage de techniques, mais touche aussi au savoir être, cette notion difficile à définir précisément, qui s’expérimente et résiste à un enseignement classique.
Leur complémentarité s’est concrétisée par la mise au point de formations en communication innovantes. Outre les travaux communs qu’ils réalisent pour La Haute Ecole de Gestion de Genève, ils proposent des stages et des séminaires destinés à des professionnels afin de les aider à être plus dynamiques, inventifs et efficaces dans leurs cadres respectifs. Leur double regard permet de poser un diagnostic précis avec l’apprenant, de trouver et d’expérimenter ensuite ensemble les moyens pour améliorer ses performances en communication.

Tony Berrada,
Professor of Finance at the University of Geneva

Tony Berrada is Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Geneva. He is a senior researcher at the National Center
of Competence in Research Finrisk and a member of the Swiss Finance Institute. His research has appeared in leading academic finance journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Finance.He specializes in the valuation of financial securities and portfolio optimization.
Prior ro joining the University of Geneva, Tony was assitant professor at HEC Montréal (Canada) and HEC Lausanne.

Helyette Geman,
Professor of Finance at Birkbeck, University of London

Helyette Geman is a Professor of Finance at Birkbeck, University of London where she is the Director of the Commodity Finance Centre and ESCP Europe. She is a graduate of Ecole Normale Superieure in Mathematics, holds a Masters degree in Theoretical Physics and a PhD in Probability from the University Pierre et Marie Curie and a PhD in Finance from the University Pantheon Sorbonne.
Professor Geman has been a scientific advisor to major financial institutions, insurance companies and energy, commodity and mining companies for the last 21 years, covering the spectrum of interest rates, catastrophic risk, credit, then crude oil, natural gas and electricity, metals and agriculturals. She was previously the Head of Research at Caisse des Depots in Paris. Professor Geman was the first president of the Bachelier Finance Society and has published more than 106 papers in top international finance and insurance Journals including the Journal of Finance, Mathematical Finance, Geneva Papers on Insurance, Journal of Financial Economics. She was named in 1993 Member of Honour of the French Society of Actuaries.
Professor Geman's research includes interest rates and catastrophic insurance, asset price and commodity forward curve modeling, hedge funds and alternative investments, as well as exotic option pricing for which she won the first prize of the Merrill Lynch Awards in 1995. Her pioneer work on extreme events and CAT bonds received in 1994 the first Prize of the AFIR (Actuarial Approach to Financial Risk) awards. Prof Geman was named in 2004 in the Hall of Fame of Energy Risk and received in July 2008 the medal for Sciences of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Alma Mater University of Bologna for the CGMY model, a pure jump Levy process widely used in finance since 2002 and in insurance since 2004.
Her book Commodities and Commodity Derivatives: Energy, Metals and Agriculturals published by Wiley Finance in January 2005 has become a reference book in the field. Prof Geman is a Member of the Board of the UBS-Bloomberg Commodity Index. She edited in 2009 the book Risk Management in Commodity Markets: from Shipping to Agriculturals and Energy and became in 2010 the first Wilmar International Invited professor of Commodities at Singapore Management University.

Philippe Gabella,
Real estate investments, Lombard Odier's Private Banking Investment Services department

Philippe Gabella is responsible for indirect real estate investments within Lombard Odier’s Private Banking Investment Services department.
Prior to joining Lombard Odier in 2008, he worked for BCV Asset Management, the investment management platform for institutional clients of the fifth largest bank in Switzerland. Philippe was, as a strategy investment manager, responsible for the discretionary mandates of listed real estate during four years. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager for institutional clients and a member of the investment committee for BCV Asset Allocation Funds.
Philippe is Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Martin Hoesli,
Professor of real estate investments at the University of Geneva

Martin Hoesli is professor of real estate investments at the University of Geneva (Geneva Finance Research Institute and Swiss Finance Institute) and professor of finance at the University of Aberdeen (Business School).
He is a former president of the European Real Estate Society (ERES), a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Cartered Surveyors (RICS) and an academic fellow of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has been a visiting professor at several European, U.S. and New Zealand universities. He has published six books and over 80 scholarly articles on real estate.
He is a board member of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA) and of the AZEK, the Swiss training centre for investment professionals. He is president of the examination commission of SFAA.
