Testimonials
In 2014 I got the chance to participate in the FMO program in Geneva. The program as well as the study material and tools highly exceeded my expectations. I was really surprised that even topics which I had been reluctant or even negative against, could inspire me now. The interactive teaching concept and the highly qualified lecturers, all having long-term experience in their fields, are a clear plus. I recommend the program without reservation to everybody in the banking sector. For me, the FMO is a unique opportunity to acquire know how in fields which are not taught at all or only at a general level in traditional financial analysis programs. I consider the FMO an ideal addition to the standard training in finance.
The program for the Expert in Financial Market Operations offered me the opportunity to attend a training with a heavy course load parallel to my job. The program was very informative and exciting as the different topics were presented and discussed by experienced and renowned lecturers in their fields. The presentation of the different financial instruments in the context of the middle and back office trading was very instructive and useful. The interaction between the students and the lecturers within the rather small group was promoted on numerous occasions during the FMO program which led to a high learning effect.
As a consultant I often work in bank projects at the interface between IT and business. The FMO training program has turned out to be the ideal complement to my studies in computer science. It provided me with a comprehensive understanding especially of the business side. In addition, I can integrate my project work better in the overall context of the bank. The program offers a good mix of classroom teaching and self-study. The experienced lecturers’ lessons are complemented by high-quality study material specifically prepared for the program (ideal also for later reference).
